New Release Rigoletto Wines
Amphora has two new releases, one for the Rigoletto range from McLaren Vale and a new icon wine from the Barossa Valley.
The first of these new releases is the 2007 Rigoletto Shiraz. The highly anticipated single vineyard Shiraz from McLaren Vale has notes of white pepper, chocolate and ripe fruit.
Amphora's second new release will be it's Icon wine (yet to be named) a 2007 Barossa Valley Shiraz, based from two barrels which have been hand selected as exceptional quality for this vintage. Winemaker Michael Sawyer believes it is the the best Barossa Valley Shiraz produced at Amphora to date. The unfiltered, single vineyard Shiraz is just days away from being bottled and is expected to be released in six months time. With only 50 dozen bottles available, each bottle will be individually numbered to help to commemorate this limited edition.
