Amphora Wine Group (formally Montego Estate Wines) was established in 2001 with the objective of filling an exciting niche in the Australian wholesale wine industry.
Amphora Wines provides a single point of reference for vignerons, wine producers and wine buyers, a reliable business partner that is committed to accessing and distributing quality, value for money, wholesale wines for the domestic market.
Amphora Wines success has stemmed from unique relationships it has developed with vineyard growers, wineries, suppliers and clients. Amphora's integrity, brand building and brand protection for clients are amongst its core values as well as providing world competitive quality, prices and service.
Buyers Own Brand - Private Label

Amphora Wines is accomplished and successful in the implementation, production and delivery of Buyers Own Brand (BOB) both domestically and internationally.
The company maintains strong and secure relationships with a team of designers, world-class print houses, bottling facilities and logistics companies and also boasts their own in house labelling plant.
Amphora's retail clients who have recognised the need for change and have ventured into BOB's have increased margins significantly while maintaining price point.
With the retailer being the owner of the Brand, price positioning, retail floor space positioning and marketing remains in complete control of you, the Brand owner.
Amphora also advise clients to submit all BOB's to wine shows, reputable wine magazines and wine competitions to gain third party endorsements and further recognition value to the Brand.
Trade marking the Brand is also advised which will protect, add value and also ensure infinite longevity.
The Amphora System
Amphora Wines is constantly producing, blending and assessing new wines and wineries. An experienced panel of winemakers appraise each wine and if the wine fulfils the company's criteria on quality, price, styles and region it is added to the portfolio and offered to our network of customers.
As a result we are able to provide a broad range of wholesale wines from many regions and are constantly updating our portfolio with new wines, often with exclusive distribution rights within Australia.
One of Amphora Wines primary business strategies is to create demand by raising the quality and reducing the costs of bulk purchased wholesale wine.

Amphora Wine Labelling
Amphora Wines is one of very few Australian wine businesses that actually owns and operates their own wine labelling machine.
This unique facility enables Amphora Wines to offer labelling and packaging as a service to existing and new clients of the Australian Wholesale business.
Amphora provide customers with the facilities to enable suppliers to deliver product ‘just in time' to their market place packaged correctly and accordingly to specific orders.
This eliminates the burden of potentially losing a sale or having to ‘de frock' or ‘de label' wine, which can be time consuming and expensive.
Labelling and packaging rates are based on a standard label and pack with cost variances due to quantities, dry goods supplied by Amphora Wines and status of wine.
